Billie Winford

A funeral service for Billie Marie Winford, nee Anderson, 84, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, will be held Friday, September 18 at 6 p.m., in the chapel at Willow Creek Church, 67 E. Algonquin Road., South Barrington, IL, 60010. Born July 15, 1925 in Trumann, Arkansas, she passed away September 14 in Elgin, IL. Burial will be in the Old Military Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas at a later date. Visitation will be at the Willow Creek Church from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. A reception in Room 100 will follow the service. Billie was employed by General Electric for 26 years. She was a member of Highland Drive Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Survivors include her son, Curt Rodgers of Algonquin; 3 grandchildren, Cathy Walsh, Shannon Diaz, and Robyn Kliewer; and 9 great grandchildren, Austin, Brandon and Hannah Walsh, Jackson, Olivia, Sophia and Lilliana Diaz, and Noah and Mia Kliewer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kate and Burt Anderson, brothers Curtis, Leonard, Nile and George Anderson, and her sister, Gladys Penrod.
