Billy Lee

Wauconda, Illinois,The memorial service for Billy Joe Lee, 72, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 28 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt 176), Crystal Lake, where there will be memorial visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The Reverend Kendall Koenig will officiate. Inurnment will be private. Born June 17, 1937, in Bell County, Kentucky, he passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Mr. Lee enjoyed fishing and boating on Bangs Lake, along with spoiling his grandkids and his wife. He also enjoyed wearing Western cowboy hats, and socializing and spending time with friends and family. Survivors include his wife Marianne (nee Sturm), whom he married May 28, 1960 in Chicago; daughters, Deborah (William) White of Summerville, SC, Brenda (Ronald) Grazian of Grayslake, Laura (Luigi) Longo of Algonquin, and Dorothy (Cary) Mickiewicz of Grayslake; grandchildren, William and Travis White, Ronald and Kaley Grazian, Victoria, Eric, Elizabeth, and Noah Longo, and Brendan Mickiewicz; sisters, Mary Peters of Harrogate, Tenn. and Margaret (Keith) Bruner of Middlesboro, KY; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by parents, Harry Lee and Beatrice and Charles Wilder; and siblings, Virginia Myers, Ruby Bolton, and Harry Lee, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 208 S LaSalle, Ste 1500 Chicago IL 60604-1242, www.americanheart.org, or 1-800-242-8721.
