Blaine Schmalz

Blaine was born June 13, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI to Henry and Elizabeth Schmalz. He passed away September 15, 2015 in Barrington surrounded by his loving family.

Blaine served in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and watching his son play baseball at Notre Dame. He was a loving, devoted family man who will be dearly missed.

Blaine is survived by his wife of 47 years, Regina; son Darin (Amy) Schmalz; grandchildren, Spencer, Cameron, and Hillary; brother, Eric Schmalz; sisters, Barbara (Luther) Fowler and Jennifer Bandeveer; his mother-in-law LaVerne (late Kenneth) Coughlin; and many nieces and nephews.
Blaine was preceded in death by his parents and sister Marilyn.

Memorial service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, October 24 at the Presbyterian Church of Barrington, 6 Brinker Road, Barrington.
