The Mass of Christian Burial for Bob Dasburg, 31, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 6, 2010, at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela St. (at the corner of Franklin Street), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Father Jack Dewes will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. Visitation will also take place from 4-9 p.m., Thursday, August 5, 2010, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Born June 8, 1979, in Waukegan, he passed away suddenly, July 31, 2010, at his home in Mundelein. Bob attended Roslyn Road School in Barrington and went on to graduate from St. Anne School. He earned his GED?with honors?and received a Pell Grant and MAPS scholarship. Bob had applied to Loyola University with the intent of earning a degree in forensic science. He was a loving father, whose greatest delight was spending time and playing with his son. Bob was an avid fisherman, sports enthusiast, and animal lover. Survivors include his son Travis A. Rina of Lemont; Travis?s mother, Natalie Rina of Lemont; adoptive mother, Claudia Dasburg of Lake Barrington; biological parents, Geneva (Brad) Lieberman of Palatine and Charles Clayton of Fox Lake; siblings, Shelley Dasburg, Angela Kelm, Joshua Zawislak, Brandy (Edward) Pike, Darrell (Stephanie) McCoy, Darren (Frankie) Dasburg, Dana (Michael) Persons, Andrew (Dawn) Dasburg, and Crystal (Michael) Marchand; biological grandmother, Loraine Clayton of Fox Lake; biological great-grandmother, Lillian Cross of Mundelein; step-grandmother, Sussann Conrad of Orlando, FL; special nephews and niece, Tyler Dasburg, Michael Eskildsen, and Madison Hayden; he?s further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Donald Dasburg; brother, Joseph Clayton; biological grandfather, Dillard Clayton; and biological grandmother, Lillian Johnson. Please don?t let Bob?s death be in vain. Please encourage alcohol and drug-dependent family and friends to seek out treatment programs. Memorials received will be used to establish an education fund for Travis.
