Bonnie Jean Haste

Bonnie Jean Haste, 56, of Rockford passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. She was born in Libertyville, IL on November 14, 1967 to David and Kathleen (Schumacher) Haste.

Bonnie was a tenacious and loving woman who enjoyed spending her time with the people closest to her. She dedicated herself and her life to her family and friends. Her children & grandchildren were everything to her, and she showed that profound love through actions and care. Yearly bake-offs at Christmas time were a staple in her family, which will be kept alive by her survivors in her memory. Bonnie found immense joy in many things including Christmas, Bingo, Bunco, family parties, concerts, yard work, travel, and her dog, Whiskey. All her favorite things centered around her loved ones, holding true to her nurturing and unwavering devotion to them. Her strength, passion and resilience will live on forever in the countless lives she has touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and beautiful memories.

She is survived by her children, Anthony (Lisa Porter) Lamere, Randi (Matt Cummings) and Brenton Geiger, all from Rockford; her grandchildren, Dylan Kotsch, Devyn Cummings, Jilliane Cummings and Isabelle Cummings; her brother, William (Kim) Haste, of Crystal Lake and their children, Caige and Kaila.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, David and Kathleen.
