Bonnie J. (Salzman) Soukup

Bonnie Jane Soukup (nee Salzman), 75, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 30, 2022. She was born April 28, 1947 to William and Jane Salzman in Des Plaines.

Bonnie was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, Bada (grandmother) and friend.  She was a life-long pre-school teacher and animal advocate.  She loved being with her family, gardening, game shows and ice cream.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert; her daughter, Stacey (Ross) Pajich and son, William (Jenny) Soukup; grandchildren, Jackson and Cooper Pajich, and William, Rosalie, Summer and Benjamin Soukup; her sister, Becky (Kevin) Monahan; and her nephews, Tim (Tristin) and Ryan Monahan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jane Salzman and her daughter, Jami Rae Soukup.

A Celebration of Bonnie’s Life will be held from 11am until 2pm, Saturday, May 14 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake.
