Bruce N. Powell

Bruce N. Powell, 72 of Inverness, IL was born on October 25, 1946 to the late Kenneth and Katy Powell and passed away peacefully with family at his side on August 15, 2019. Bruce was the cherished husband of Rosemary “Rose” Powell (nee Colletti); proud father of Christopher (Sarah) Powell, James (Colleen) Powell, John (Angelica) Powell and Amanda Powell; adored grandfather of Owen, Elliot, Savannah and Evie; and beloved brother-in-law of Anthony Colletti and Rev. Richard Colletti. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and his two grandchildren, Eloise and Emilia. Bruce served in the Illinois Army National Guard and recently retired after 25 years as a Senior Vice President from AB-SKF. He dearly loved his children, his grandchildren, and his dog, Molly. He was also a classic car enthusiast and loved model trains. He will be remembered for his kindness and tender heart. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 19 from 4:00pm until the time of his Service at 7:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL. Interment will be held privately.
