Bryan C. Reigart

Bryan C. Reigart, 38, of Mahomet, IL, formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2018. He was born on December 3, 1979 in Barrington to Dennis and Linda (nee Kane) Reigart.

Bryan is survived by his wife, Melissa (nee Jensen); his children, Addyson, 10, and Wilson, 7; his parents; his siblings Jason (Mandy) Reigart and Greg (Kristen) Reigart; two nieces, Ashlyn and Bristol; his grandmother Mary Jane Reigart; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Bob Reigart and Edwin Kane, his grandmother Vivian Kane, and his cousin Courtney Kspeka.

Bryan graduated from Crystal Lake South High School and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.  He was employed at the University of Illinois as an IT Associate for the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center and Illinois Natural History Survey.

Most important to Bryan was his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband and the most amazing father to his daughter and son. His greatest joy in life was the family he and Melissa created together. Bryan was an avid sports fan and loyal supporter of the Cubs, the Illini, and the Bears.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2 PM until 5 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. A funeral mass will be on Monday, September 24, at 1 PM at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake. Friends and family may gather for a viewing beginning at 12 PM until the start of mass. Dessert reception to follow.
