Burton Hinman

The funeral service for Burton L. Hinman, 90, will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be private in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven, CT.

Born April 4, 1924, in Wallingford, CT, he passed away Friday, August 15, 2014.

Mr. Hinman served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked for UARCO Inc. for 33 years.

Survivors include his children, Elisabeth (Michael J.) Nevins, Carol L. Hall, and Stephen K. Hinman; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and friend, Margaretha Svard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burton L. and Christine Hinman, Sr.; and brothers, Richard and John Hinman.
