Calverd Jacobson

Calverd “Cal” Jacobson, 88, of Barrington, died, August 2, 2013, at home. He was born on May 27, 1925, to Archer and Florence Jacobson, in Chicago.
Cal was the CFO at Technical Publishing Company in Barrington where he eventually retired from.
Cal is survived by his loving partner of twenty-four years, Marion Rettke; children, Beth (Kevin) Knece and Scott Jacobson; granddaughter, Marcie and great grandson, Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael Jacobson; wife, Ethel Jacobson, and his parents.

Visitation will be from 3-7p.m., Monday, August 5, 2013, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington, IL 60010.
There will be a second visitation held from 10:30 until the time of service at 11a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, Barrington.
Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington, following the service.
