Carl Johnson

Carl Raymond Johnson, 84, of Antioch, formerly of Wauconda for over 55 years, died November 19, 2014 in McHenry.

He was born on October 10, 1930 to Carl and Adelle Johnson in Chicago.

Carl is survived by his loving children, Phil (April) Johnson, Nancy (Ron) Welzen, Chris (Scott) Lawrence, Jeanie Maher, and Kerry (Eleazar) Arellano; grandchildren, Ryan (Katie) Johnson, Stefanie (John) Rios, Tracy (Patrick) McCafferty, Amy (fiancé Todd Hanne), John, and Joshua Bender, Jeff (Lisa), Becky, and Kevin Lawrence, Jessica, Jamie, Jordan, and Jake Maher; and their father, James Maher, and Justin and Dawson Arellano; great grandchildren, Molly, Gavin, Aubrey, Avery, Emily, and Amelia; sister, Jeanette Weiser; niece, Susan, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years, Virginia L. Johnson; granddaughter, Anna Bender and nephew, Robert.

Visitation will be held from 4-8p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 5209 Walkup Road, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.

Funeral service will be held at 11a.m., Tuesday, November 25, at church, where there will be a second visitation held one hour prior to the service at church.
Burial will be held at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
