Carlos Galarza, of Barrington, passed away with his loving family at his side on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the age of 73.
He was born June 16, 1941 in Chicago and moved to the Barrington area in 1980. Carlos will be dearly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying fishing, hunting, water sports, and working in his garden.
In addition to his loving wife of 35 years, Jackie, Carlos is survived by his children, Michael (Elena) Gladson, David (Jennifer) Gladson; grandchildren, Jack, Grace, Hunter, Morgan, and Skylar; brother, Ernesto Galarza; and sister, Elena Ziehm; sister-in-laws, Judi Caleca and Kathy Caleca.
The visitation will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. Visitation will continue the following day, Monday, March 30 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
