Carmela Glowacki

Carmela "Millie" (nee Puccio) Glowacki , 79, of Marengo, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Crossroads Care Center in Woodstock.

Millie enjoyed ceramics, crafts, creating floral arrangements, and cooking.

She was the devoted mother of Michelle (Michael) Dryjanski, Jane (Brian) Bourke, Sandra (Robert) Steinhauser and the late David Frank Glowacki; cherished grandmother of Justin and Amanda Dryjanski, Danae (Brian) O'Connor, Leanna Neuner (fiance Anthony Bahwell), Elisa (Randy) Belrichard, Erica and Emma Steinhauser, and the late baby boy Samuel Dryjanski; and loving great-grandmother of Cameron Mark Belrichard.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank L. Glowacki.

The visitation will begin at 11am, Monday, April 9 until the 1pm service at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt. 176), Crystal Lake. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park, Crystal Lake. An open house will follow until 10pm at the home of her daughter, Jane Bourke, 2101 Maritime Lane, Woodstock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Foundation of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Rd, Barrington IL 60010-3141.
