Carol Boberg Holmes, 86, born September 9, 1929, passed away October 15, 2015 at her home in Barrington.
A longtime resident of Cary, Carol was actively involved in her community, the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago and the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Carol is survived by her children; Keith (Sherri) Holmes, Sarah (Andrew) Westphal, and Anne Holmes Feeney; grandchildren, Nick, Daniel, and Caroline Holmes; Ian and Helen Feeney; and Philip Westphal. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin and her daughter Claire Holmes.
A memorial service will be held Monday, November 2, 11:00 am at the Cary United Methodist Church, 500 North First St, Cary.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago.
