Carole (Meyer) Skoog

Carole Skoog (nee Meyer), age 88, formally of Prospect Heights, IL, passed away at her home in Huntley, IL on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

Carole was born January 1, 1931 in Oak Park IL.  She is survived by her loving children Holly, (David) Rider, Penny (Bradley) McCredie, Wendy (William) Kilgore; doting Grandmother of Linnea, Brett and Hannah Rider, Austin and Madison McCredie, Patrick (Shelby), and Erin Kilgore; dear Sister of Dorothy (Nick) Bavaro, and Susan (Roger) Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Glen Paul Skoog and her parents Roy and Ramona Meyer (nee Sauer).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethesda Lutheran Communities, 600 Hoffman Drive, Watertown, WI 53098.

A visitation for Carole will be held at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL, on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 11am. Committal Service to be held at Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery, 8012 Ridgefield Rd, Crystal Lake, IL  60012 immediately following the funeral service.
