Caroline Annen

Born August 11, 1941 in Greenwood, WI, she passed away peacefully January 1, 2014 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington.
Caroline graduated from Greenwood High School in 1959. She was an avid bingo and cribbage player. Caroline enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, and her flower garden. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching their sporting events at Crystal Lake South, Crystal Lake Central, Prairie Ridge High Schools , and Hanna Beardsley Middle School.
Caroline is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas, whom she married August 12, 1961. She is also survived by her children; Sheri (Matthew) Turk, James Annen, Jill Annen, Scott (Tracey) Annen, and Stacey Annen, and grandchildren; Joshua and Benjamin Turk, Bradley, Jennifer, Luke, Jessica, Olivia, and Paige Annen. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Annen, parents Gerald and Anna Denk, brother Allen Denk, and sister Rosemary (Denk) Barr.
Memorial visitation will be 9:00am until the time of the funeral mass at 11:30am Saturday, January 11, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL. Interment will be private.
