Carolyn C. Mattson

Carolyn passed away peacefully May 28, 2018. She was born April 16, 1929 to Joseph and Florence Corcoran and grew up in Evanston. Carolyn attended Smith College in Northampton, MA and had a successful career in real estate.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Robert Ellis; children, Lynn (Philip) Barras and Barbara Thurlow; grandchildren, Carrie (Marco) Maggiore, Ryan (Lauren) Barras, Brandon (Marcella) Barras, and Cameron (Molly Orloff) Barras; and four great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George Thurlow; son Hugh Thurlow; sister, Josephine Barr; brother, Charles Corcoran; and her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, June 23rd at the Presbyterian Church of Barrington, 6 Brinker Road, Barrington.
