Caryl R. Reaver

Caryl R. Reaver, Jr., 72, of Crystal Lake, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home.

He was born September 16, 1948 in Highland Park, the son of the late Caryl R. and Lois H. Reaver.

In May of 1978 he was united in marriage to Doris Brockhoff.
Caryl was an avid reader and motorcycle enthusiast. He loved traveling and planning road trips.

Caryl is survived by his loving wife, Doris; his daughter, Heather (Jeremy) Horton; his grandchildren, Savannah, Trenton and Aspen; siblings, Holly (Bob) Lanyi-Jay and Bill Reaver; sisters-in-law, Lois Mouhelis and Jan Bowers; brother-in-law, Curt Brockhoff; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 8:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake.
