Charles "Chuck" A. Schroeder
Chuck worked for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent for 37 years. Chuck was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed sunsets, flowers, hot-air balloons, trains and anything John Deere.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Margie; daughter, Angela (Hayley Dean) Schroeder; step-daughter, Melissa (David Pearson) Trzaskus ; grandchildren, Nathan and Victoria; his siblings, Phillip (Cora), Norman (Eileen), Randy Schroeder, Linda (Jon) Herwy, Shirley (Roy) Williams, Pat (Dean) Knudtson, Nancy (Russ) Evertsen and Sue Schroeder; his ex-wife, Diane Schroeder; and by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Russell Schoeder, his mother-in-law, Linnea Ann Uppstrom and his brother-in-law, Buddy Ryan.
The visitation will be Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 3 PM until 9 PM with a funeral service at 7 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment will be private.
