Charles Allison, III

Charles Richard Allison, III “Skip”, 68, formerly of Lake Zurich, was born October 24, 1948 in Dayton, OH to Charles Richard Allison, Jr. and Mary (nee Shultz) Allison. He passed away peacefully on Friday, March 3, 2017 in Crystal Lake.
Skip was an electrical engineer and manager for Motorola Solutions for 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with amateur radio, dog agility training, and amateur photography. Skip loved the outdoors, biking, camping, sailing and taking trips with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy (nee Ware) Allison; his son, Ryan (Christina) Allison; his granddaughter, Lorelai; and his step grandchildren, JoyAnn and Jacob Freeman.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
