Charles Franklin Trusty

Charles Franklin Trusty, 84, of Lake in the Hills passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021.  He was born in Shawneetown, IL on October 11, 1936 to Carl and Lela (Massey) Trusty.

Charles married Dorothy Sallions on February 8, 1966 in Harrisburg, IL.    He was fun loving and enjoyed working in the garage making things for his kids and grandkids.   Charles loved animals and being outside feeding the wildlife.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children, Teresa (Angel) Aviles, Charles “Chuck” (Jennifer Mohlman) Trusty, Janet (finance Chris Mraz) Trusty; grandchildren, Kyle and Nathan Trusty and Kayla Aviles; and sisters, Barb Irvin and Freda Smith.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Tammy Tarrence and Katherine Sinks.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 11th, from 5pm until the time of a funeral service at 6pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.   Charles will be laid to rest at Adkin Cemetery in Omaha, IL.
