Charles "Bob" Robert Williamson

Charles Robert “Bob” Williamson, 87, of Crystal Lake passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. He was born in Kansas City, MO on January 6, 1934 to David and Lucy (Morris Kennedy) Williamson.

His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family, particularly his 5 grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to University of Illinois football games to see his two daughters and two granddaughters perform with the Marching Illini. Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion and a member of First Church, Crystal Lake.

Bob will be deeply missed by his wife of almost 63 years, Mary Jayne (Cooper); daughters, Lisa (Frank) Bischoff of Wheeling, IL and Lesley (Andrew) Floccare of Georgetown, KY; grandchildren, Diane and Amy Bischoff, Leah Holland, and Troy and Nate Floccare; and his brother, Dennis Williamson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Royce Williamson and mother, Lucy Kennedy.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5 th , from 1 until 2:45pm followed by a service at
3:00pm at First Church, 236 W Crystal Lake Ave, Crystal Lake.
