Charmaine Emma (Geitz) Donegan

After countless cookies baked and birthday cards created, Charmaine Emma Donegan passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019.  She was 80 years old.

She spent her final days surrounded by family and passed peacefully in her home in Algonquin.  Charmaine beat cancer, and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Her biggest joy was watching her six grandsons graduate, become husbands, fathers and successful men.

Charmaine was married to John Donegan for forty years before his passing in 2005.   She is survived by her children, Kathy, Sandy, Michael and Mary; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and her sister, Linda.

Mass will be held on Thursday, August 1, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake.   Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
