Cheryl Svadlenka
July 17, 1947 — October 27, 2015
Cheryl Svadlenka, 68, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 after battling cancer. She was born in 1947 in Chicago to Russell and Helen (nee Turczak) Wiese.
Cheryl was an avid gardener; she also enjoyed sewing, painting, and being with her grandchildren. She was a long time Girl Scout. She also volunteered within the community. She enjoyed travelling with her husband of 45 years, Lou.
Cheryl will be deeply missed by her loving children, Stacey Svadlenka, Robert (Lorrie) Svadlenka, Nikki (Michael) LoPresti; and grandchildren, Sterling, Haylie, Luke and Annabelle. Many loving friends and family also survive.
She was preceded in death by her dear husband and her parents.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, November 7, from 10:30 am until time of prayers at 1:30 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Memorial mass will follow at 2 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL. Interment will be private.
