Chris Iafigliola

Born July 14, 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio to Patrick and Jo Ann (nee Lendvay) Iafigliola, Christopher passed away on June 18, 2017 in Huntley.

Christopher received his Bachelor’s Degree from Loras College where he met his future wife, Carla Sorce. They were married at St. Juliana Parish in Chicago on November 21, 1998.
Chris was the owner of Action Courts, a career he was very passionate about, knowing his work was bringing enjoyment and happiness to families and children at play. Mostly, he was extremely proud of his role as a soccer dad and the time he was able to spend with his family and sons.

Chris was a loving husband to his wife, Dr. Carla Iafigliola; cherished father to Nicolas and Nathan; loving son to his parents, Jo Ann and Patrick and his in-laws, Jo Ann and Dr. Angelo Sorce; beloved brother to Mark Iafigliola and brother-in-law to Dr. Angelo J. (Jacqueline) Sorce and Pamela Stevens; and will be dearly missed by his extended family of many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He will also be missed by his many friends that have blessed his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Friends may visit with Chris’ family on Friday, June 23, from 4-9 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. Visiting will continue the following day, Saturday, June 24, at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until prayers at 9:30 a.m. followed by procession to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, Palatine.
