Barrington, Illinois,The memorial service for Christopher "Biggie" K. Johnson, 28, of Barrington will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 E Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service. The Reverend Don Wink will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. There will also be visitation from 4-9 p.m., Friday, November 12, 2010, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Born June 8, 1982, in Arlington Heights, he unexpectedly passed away Monday, November 8, 2010, at his home. Christopher was a 2000 graduate of Barrington High School and was a 2010 graduate of Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy in Chicago, from which he earned his degree in sound design and engineering for video games. Christopher was a talented drummer, who previously was a member of the Adversaries. He studied Kyu Ki Do at the Tiger Martial Arts Dojang in Barrington. Survivors include his parents, Deborah and Roger Kelly of Barrington; siblings, Maegan Johnson of Chicago and Kimberly (Joseph) Somodji of Round Lake Park; nieces, Scarlett, Olivia, Kaydan, and Alexis; step-sisters, Allison (Walker) Kelly-Weyerhaeuser of Champaign, Anne Kelly of Springfield, and Amy Kelly of Sleepy Hollow; and grandmother, Eleanor M. "Lynn" Kiefer of Tower Lakes. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond H. Kiefer.
