Christopher Pietrancosta

Christopher D. Pietrancosta, 66, of Cary, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born January 29, 1949, in Chicago, to the late Christopher and Emma (nee Hignett) Pietrancosta.

Chris was a hard worker, dedicating 47 years of his life as a meat cutter. He loved Chicago sports but above all, he cherished his family and time spent with them.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Darlene; sons, Scott (Geana) Barsellotti and Christopher (Kathi) Pietrancosta; daughters, Wendy (Daniel) Burger, Brenda (David) Luttrell, and Jennifer (Benjamin) Layman; and grandchildren, Maddie, Jenna, Gina, Andrew, Nate, Kaydence, and Baby P.

Visitation will be from 10am until 1pm on Thursday, September 10, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte 176), Crystal Lake.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for his grandkids’ college educations. Checks may be made out to: Darlene Pietrancosta.
