Clare (Simonson) Logue

A Mass of Christian Burial for Clare Theresa Logue (nee Simonson) 91, of Barrington, IL formerly of Arlington Heights, and Harry Logue will be held at 11am, Monday December 11 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St. (Corner of Franklin and Ela Streets), Barrington. Burial will be held privately.
Born September 26, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA, she passed away December 7, 2017 in Barrington, IL.
Clare worked as an administrative assistant for 19 years; 10 of them with Proctor and Schwartz. Clare lived at the Garlands of Barrington with her husband for 16 years. She loved playing golf and bridge and was an avid gardener. Clare’s family is grateful for the excellent care she received at the Garlands and Prairieview.
Survivors include her daughter, Clare L. Logue; niece Lorraine Barbara; sister in law Jean Simonson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Harry, in February 2017; parents, Daniel and Marie (O’Brien) Simonson; brother, Daniel Simonson Jr.; sister, Marcella Montague, and brother-in-law, Raymond Montague.
