Clark Benkendorf

Richard “Clark” Benkendorf III, 55 of Barrington Hills, was born on February 9, 1963 to Richard Clark, Jr. and the late Carol Ann (nee Reed). Clark passed away suddenly on April 22, 2018. Clark was an incredible husband to Lorelei for 33 years and an amazing father of three. Clark was the loving and proud father of Amanda (Jack) Lohan, Melissa Benkendorf, Reed Benkendorf; respected brother of Mary (Paul) Noone, Mark (Judy) Benkendorf, John (Katie) Benkendorf, Jim Benkendorf, Sheila (Todd) Olson, Diane (Chris) Neville, Sharon (Carlos) Linares, Matt Benkendorf; uncle of 22; friend of many.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 29, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL. On Monday, April 30, visitation will continue at Saint Anne Catholic Community, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington, IL from 9:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
