Clifford Edward Shasteen, of Crystal Lake, passed away October 2, 2018. He was born December 25, 1949 in Manchester, TN.
For 30 years, Cliff was employed as a Police Officer for the Village of Arlington Heights. As a motorcycle police officer, Cliff had a life-long passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and was able to ride to and from work as well as on the job. He loved traveling, Chicago sports, and spending time with his beloved family. As an avid Chicago sports fan, his favorite football teams were the Chicago Bears and whoever was playing the Green Bay Packers.
In addition to his wife Donna, Cliff is survived by his children, Valerie (Mike) Sims and Jeffrey (Melissa) Shasteen; his grandchildren, Delainey, Sloane, and Jack Shasteen; his sisters, Karen (Tim) Kimball and Patricia (Bruce) Phillips; and his father, Jural Shasteen. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Shasteen.
He will be sorely missed by his entire family. He left us way too soon.
Friends are welcome to visit with Cliff’s family on Wednesday, October 10th from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5:30 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake.
