Connie Ulrich

Connie Lee Ulrich (nee Boggs),51, of Crystal Lake, died Monday, Sept. 13,2011, at her home.Connie was a sixth-grade teacher at Cary Junior High school, and had previously taught at Prairie Hill, Deer Path and Maplewood elementary schools. She enjoyed traveling with her friends, gardening, and photography, but her real passion in life was furthering her own education and the education of her students.Survivors include her son, Eric Ulrich of Lakewood; mother, Imogene Boggs of Chicago; siblings, Anita;Carol; (Walter) Masyk, Debbie Hager, Neva (Varoojan “Farmer”) Kachikian, Patricia Spyrka, Marilyn Turney, and Tony (Vicki) Boggs; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Clara Blanton.The visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake and from 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19,until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 461 Pierson St., Crystal Lake.
