Connor Priesz

Connor Nelson Priesz, 18 of Crystal Lake, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2012 in McHenry.

Born on April 16, 1994 in Sacramento, California, he was the son of Brian and Janet (Nelson).

Connor graduated from Prairie Ridge High School this past spring and was planning to attend Northern Illinois University in the fall, where he was accepted into the honors program.

Connor is survived by his parents, brother Jared, sister Morgan, paternal grandparents Howard Priesz and Barb Priesz, maternal grandfather Jerry Nelson, uncle Scott (Kirsten) Nelson, aunt DeAnn (Seth) McClure, and four cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sandy Nelson.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday July 14 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., (Route 176), Crystal Lake. Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 14 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 76 W. Crystal Lake Ave, Crystal Lake. Please meet at the church for the service. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Illinois Chapter, 11 S. LaSalle St, Suite 1800, Chicago, IL 60603-1344.
