Corinne Jensen

Algonquin, Illinois,Corinne Jensen Corinne Jensen, 86, of Algonquin entered eternal life Wednesday, December 22, 2010 in Woodstock. She was born in Chicago, IL, January 1, 1924, to the late Harold and Marie (nee Metcalf) Erickson. Corinne worked for Eastman Kodak in Oak Brook, IL for 15 years. She loved to travel and camp with her husband John, and close friends, often to Europe, Florida and South Carolina. She often enjoyed reading newspapers, books, and playing board games. Her survivors are her beloved husband of 60 years John Jensen; daughter, Betty (Roy) Deans; granddaughter, Christine (Jeremy) Krick; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Krick; and sister-in-law Dagney Jensen. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Charlotte Hayes and Betty Erickson, and sister-in-law, Eleanor Jensen. Visitation will be held at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, Friday, December 24, 2010, from 9:30 - 10:30am, with service to follow at 10:30. Father Jack Dewes will officiate. Interment will be held in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 3100 Thatcher Avenue, River Grove, IL 60171.
