Corinne Corrigan Porstner

Corinne Corrigan Porstner was born in 1937 to Marie Cecilia Majerus and Mario Gaetano Bencich. Our beloved Corinne longed to be with Jesus, and on February 4, 2022…the Lord called her up yonder.

She spend many years working as a Psychotherapist, Social Worker, Mentor and Biblical Counsellor. Corinne had many hobbies that included swimming, hiking, skiing and spending quality time with loved ones (especially her grandchildren).

Corine is survived by her ever loving 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and her 5 sons, Danny Samyn, Steve Samyn, Mike Samyn, Gary Samyn and Jeff Samyn.

Corinne’s wishes are to be privately united with her husband at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (The family is asking that her wishes be honored).
