Cupertina Rivera

Cupertina Rivera, 70, of Crystal Lake was born January 8, 1943 in Mexico and passed away February 23, 2013 in Woodstock.

Cupertina was the beloved wife for 48 years of Antonio G. Rivera, loving mother of Teresa (Salvador) Ruiz, Cirilia (Macario) Custodio, Lazaro Rivera, Sofia (Zbigniew) Zatek, Miguel (Julie) Rivera, and Tony (Krissy) Rivera, and dear grandmother of 14. She is also survived by 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Mercedes Custodio and a sister.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30am Wednesday, February 27 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 453 Pierson Street, Crystal Lake. Burial in Dundee Township Cemetery will follow the Mass.
