Dale R. Bode, 82, of Fox River Grove, was born on February 28, 1936 in Chicago to the late Robert and the late Eleanor Bode and passed away at home on September 19, 2018. Dale was the loving husband of Nanette for 20 years; loving father of Daniel, Deborah, Thomas and Rebecca; cherished grandfather of 4; great-grandfather of 2; and also loved by Nanette’s family.
Dale was such a hardworking man, with a gentle spirit and love for His Lord. He had a love and passion for gardening, dogs, and the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation for Dale will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 12:00pm until the time of his service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, IL.
Memorial donations may be made in Dale’s name to the Moody Bible Church, www.moodychurch.org.
