Life Legacy
Daniel Jaworsky, 84, of Chicago, passed into Eternal Life on All Souls Day with his daughters by his side on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Daniel was born August 17, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Petranella (Komanovic) Jaworsky.
Daniel earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting after serving in the Korean War as a Corporal in the United States Army. Daniel, who also was a huge Chicago Bears fan, had the privilege of playing Semi-Pro football with the Chicago Bears under "Papa Bear" George Halas.
Loving father of Ronald (Elaine) Kalman, John (Yvonne) Kalman, Diane Michalik (Jaworsky) and Kathleen (Walter) Tomaszewski (Jaworsky); cherished grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and a good friend to many.
Celebration of Daniel’s life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 6725 W. Devon Ave., Chicago, IL 60631. Welcome Visitation will be at 10:00 am, Military Honors tribute at 10:45 am and mass following at 11:00 am.
Inurnment will be at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Cemetery at 8851 W. Higgins Rd, Chicago, IL 60656.
