Daniel T. Kurowski

Daniel “Dan” Kurowski, 70, of Algonquin, was born on December 17, 1946 to the late Walter and the late Evelyn (nee Payne) Kurowski in Chicago, and passed away at home surrounded by family on May 21, 2017. Dan was the devoted husband of Margaret “Peg” Kurowski (nee Peterson) for 42 years; loving father of Kimberly (Todd) Carlson of Montgomery, IL, Michael Kurowski of Algonquin, IL, and Jason Kurowski of Carol Stream, IL; dear brother of David Kurowski, Patricia Fewell, and Nancy Helton; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Eugene. Dan was a dedicated employee of 30 years at McCanna, Inc. in Carpentersville, IL. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 27, from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:30am, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. In honor of Dan, his family requests that you wear a funny t-shirt to the visitation.
