Daniel M. Sippy

Daniel Matthew Sippy, age 53, died suddenly of a Gastro Intestinal Hemorrhage at his home in Crystal Lake, IL on February 2, 2021.

Dan grew up in Arlington Heights and lived in Des Plaines before moving to Crystal Lake.

He was a student at Dunton Grammar, South Middle and graduate of Rolling Meadows High School.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Joan and his oldest brother, Jeffrey.

He will be sorely missed by his father Bert, brother Kenneth, sister-in-law Carolyn, nephew Ethan and many, many relatives and friends.

Dan’s passion for music was evident by his large collection of records, 8track tapes, cassettes and CD’s. A couple of his favorite groups were YES (a brother’s favorite) and the Grateful Dead.

Dan, or “Sip”, as he was known by friends, enjoyed a good buzz, barbequing and spending time with family and friends. An outdoorsman, he liked shooting, kayaking and fishing.

Dan was a kind hearted and gentle soul, and he will be sorely missed.
