Daren was born May 8, 1972 in Arlington Heights. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Buffalo Grove.

Daren is survived by his father, Robert J. Bankert Sr.; brothers, Robert Jr. (Sharon), Jed (Kathy), and Nathan Bankert; nephews, Travis (Courtney), Anthony, Jason, Brandon, and Ryan; niece, Jamie (Sergio); great niece, Serena; and great nephew, Angel. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Rex.
