Darlene P. Freibauer (nee Jenke),53, of Crystal Lake was born Oct. 31, 1958 in Chicago and passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2., 2011 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, surrounded by her family.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 27 years, John, children John, William (Tosha), Jennifer (Ken) Fluharty, and Chris (Jessica Hare), grandchildren, Matthew, Lorelei, Jason, Benjamin, and Elizabeth, brothers Dennis (Mai), Jeff (Susie), and Kenneth (Jill) Jenke, sister Denise Jenke, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Heinz and Dorothy (nee Urbanski) Jenke.
Darlene was employed at Marshall Fields for over ten years, where she was the top sales person in the country. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and puzzles, mostly she treasured the time she spent with her family.
Visitation will be from 3p.m. until 9p.m. with a funeral service at 7p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
