Darlene Pace

The funeral Mass for Darlene J. Pace (nee Hughes), age 52, of Barrington will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N Ela St (at the corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.) Barrington, where the family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. The visitation will be held Wednesday, May 7 from 3-8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington.

Born December 31, 1961 in Johnsburg, Darlene passed away May 2, 2014 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington.

Darlene will be remembered for her optimism, being pleasantly persistent, and having a great sense of humor. She also had a love for quilting and finding the perfect seashells on Marco Beach.

Survivors include her loving husband, Robert Pace, whom she married August 20, 1988 at St. John the Baptist in Johnsburg; her beloved children, Kelsey and Alex; mother, Dorothy Hughes; and brother, Andy (Debbie) Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Hughes.
