Darold Michael Faurot

Darold Michael Faurot was an extraordinarily, special person. He was a man of many talents and the things he loved he pursued with unerring passion. An avid outdoorsman, he could name birds by their calls, trees by a leaf. He was a mentor and businessman without compare, with a drive that inspired others. He was constantly innovating and loved amassing knowledge. Above all he was a beloved, cherished family member who is so dearly missed. We will always think of him with the utmost love and pride for having had him in our lives.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family: wife, Susanne Faurot, his children Adam Faurot, Hannah Faurot, Sylvia Faurot, and Pawley Faurot, Mother-in-law Margret Stigler. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton R. Faurot and Marjorie A. Faurot, his Father-in-law Michael Stigler.

A memorial for him will be held November 6th at 10:30 am at Zion Lutheran Church (412 Jackson Street Marengo, IL). If mourners would like to send flowers, the family asks they be sent to the church and if they are so inclined memorials in Darold’s name can be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or the National Park Foundation.
