David Greenwald

David A. Greenwald, 52, of Crystal Lake, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2016. He was born October 22, 1963 in Park Ridge, IL to Clyde and Sharon (nee Waters) Greenwald.
David’s passion, besides his loving wife and two sons, was music. He loved playing several bands and entertaining for friends. His skill as a guitarist was second to none. Creating original music with his closest friends was one of the highlights of his life. He thoroughly enjoyed snowmobiling, watching his sons play numerous sports, his dog Izzie and being with family and friends.
David will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 29 years, Nancy (nee Carver); his children, Craig, 24 and Connor, 22; his parents, Clyde and Sharon (Waters) Greenwald, his brother, K.C. Greenwald and his wife Jo; his in-laws, Jim and Elaine Carver; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paula and Kevin Lutsch and Doug and Celeste Carver; and by his entire extended family and friends.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 5 – 9 PM with a celebration of David’s life from 7 – 8 PM, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment will be private.
