Born April 28, 1927 in Jackson, MI, passed away peacefully November 30, 2014 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington, surrounded by his loving family.
Dean is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis, children; Debbie (Joe) Fitzgerald, and Michael (Carla) Garner, grandchildren; Mike, Tyler, and Lexi Fitzgerald, and Nate and Bridget Garner, and many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Marian Garner, and brothers Boyd and Ken Garner.
Memorial visitation will be held from 2pm until the time of the memorial service at 4pm, Thursday, December 18 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook), Barrington, followed by military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to JourneyCare Foundation, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010.
