Debra Lucas
March 23, 1953 — July 5, 2016
Born March 23, 1953 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Paul and Barbara (nee Phillips) Snyder, Debra passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Debra worked as a respiratory therapist for Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. Additionally she was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Crystal Lake. Debra enjoyed spending her free time baking, cooking, gardening, enjoying nature, but most of all she loved the time spent with her family and grandchildren.
Debra will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Michael, whom she married on February 8, 1974 in Pittsburgh; her sons, Michael D. (Rachel Dorfman of St. Charles) Lucas of Crystal Lake, and Mathew R. Lucas of Crystal Lake; her grandchildren, Hailey, Caroline, Tessa, and Jonah Lucas; her mother, Barbara Snyder; and siblings, Paul Snyder, Kim Stanford, Scot Snyder, and Glen Snyder.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Snyder.
Friends may visit with Debra’s family on Friday, July 8, from 4-9 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt 176) Crystal Lake. Visiting will continue the following day, Saturday, July 9, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
