Harvard, Illinois,Demos "Jimmy" James Archos Demos James Archos, 41, of Harvard, at rest January 30 2011. Born on June 19, 1969 in Evanston, son of Lee D. and Eugenia (Pipikios) Archos. Known for his golden heart, brilliant mind, keen humor, magnetic smile, and twinkle in his eye, he was a big, loving teddy bear to all. With a life-long love of all music, Jimmy?s passions included snow-skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, and golfing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and fiancée, the love of his life, Tina Polanek. He is survived by his parents and his fiancée. He was the brother of Angelique (Joseph) Doyle; grandson of the late Demos and Angeliki Archos and the late John and Stavroula Pipikios; nephew of Dean and Paula Archos, Maria (the late Panos) Bourlokas, the late Evans (Demetra) Archos, Georgia (the late Andreas) Giannakopolous, John (Helen) Archos, Greg (Georgine) Pipikios, and Mike Pipikios; cousin of the late Demos J. Archos and the late Angelique P. Archos and many other cousins; and friend to many. The visitation will be from 3-8pm, Thursday, Feb. 3 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt 176), Crystal Lake. Funeral Prayers will be said at 9am, Friday, Feb. 4 at the funeral home before proceeding to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church of Elgin, 525 Church Rd. in Elgin for a 10am Mass. Interment will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park, 8012 Ridgefield Rd. in Crystal Lake.
