Derek Beltrame

Derek Anthony Beltrame, 22, of Crystal Lake, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. He was born February 15,1994 in Winter Park, Florida and lived in Winter Springs, Florida for 19 years before moving to Crystal Lake. Derek graduated from Lake Howell High School and served a short time in US Navy.
Derek loved all sports but his passion was playing soccer. He started playing when he was 3 on various teams including 4 years varsity high school team and premiere leagues as a goalie.
Derek is survived by his mother, Liz Sheldon Beltrame of Crystal Lake; his father, Eduardo Beltrame of Orlando FL; sister, Sara Beltrame of Crystal Lake; brother and sister-in-law, Sean and Amanda Watson of Crystal Lake; sister, Vanessa Beltrame of Miami, FL; brother, Damian Beltrame of Pompano Beach, FL; grandparents, John and Lois Edwards of Crystal Lake; three nephews; and lots of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Derek was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Beltrame; grandfather, Thomas Sheldon; great grandparents; and uncle, Jeffrey Hutchins.
Celebration of Life Service will be at The Other Side, 93 Berkshire Dr, Crystal Lake, IL from 1pm to 3pm, Saturday, June 25.
