Diana Widing

Mrs. Diana C. Widing, age 79, passed away on April 14, 2016. She was born on July 5, 1936 to Gotthard and Hilda (Carlson) Goranson in Chicago. Diana loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling reading, and socializing. On June 21, 1958 she married Richard K. Widing who preceded her in death on July 13, 1980.
Diana is survived by her 3 children, Mark (Jill) Widing, Julie Begley, Larry Widing; 7 grandchildren, Nathan ( Amanda) Widing, Eric Widing, Kristen Widing, Curtis Begley, Kyle Begley, Molly Widing, Danny Widing; her brother, Gordon (Eva) Goranson; and niece, Lisa (Colin) Gilbert, and nephew, Tom Pfaunter.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Friday, April 22 from 5 -8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave. (IL Rte 176) Crystal Lake, IL 60014. The funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, April 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.
