Diane Connelly

Diane Marie Connelly nee Karger, 55, of Crystal Lake, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010, in McHenry. Born March 11, 1955, she was the daughter of Emil and Mildred Karger nee Kamholz. Diane held a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was a member of the McHenry Flying Dragons Tae Kwon Do. She adored her cats Marcie and the late Oliver, Cleo, and Callie. She was also a collector of Science Fiction and Doctor Who memorabilia. She is survived by her loving Husband of 34 years, James Connelly, Mother Mildred Karger, Crystal Lake; Sister Jeanine Karger, Crystal Lake; Brother Paul (Sawako) Karger, Spokane, WA and many loving friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her father Emil Karger who passed away in 2001. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, from 9am until the time of funeral service at 11am at Bethany Lutheran Church, 76 W Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL. Pastor Harold Hoekstra will officiate. Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Paws Animal Shelter, 2500 Harding Ln, Woodstock IL 60098-6921.
